I have taken care of my younger cousins ever since I was 13 whenever my aunts and uncles wanted to go out, and I am still close to them to this day. In middle school I also helped my dance teacher with teaching dance to toddlers, and since I've started college my job has been teaching piano & singing to kids!

I think just in general being kind is really important, when you're younger it feels easy to take things to heart, so I think the level of kindness you show is extremely important as a nanny. Kids also learn how to behave based on other people's actions so I feel like it's very important for a nanny to be a good influence with kindness!

Probably when I was watching my little cousins years ago and my youngest cousin told me if I was her teacher, she would buy me flowers every day. It's kind of funny now that she's older and would be too embarrassed to say it but I still think of that moment every day!
