The most important part about being a nanny...

Is having a kind, and open heart, always. Many children are "acting out" due to reasons you never know. A child may be withdrawn because they were yelled at and belittled the night before. A child may be crying because they are tired. Never judge, and always come into a home with a loving heart.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have worked within a daycare for 3 and a half years and I cannot pin my favorite moment. My most recent, favorite moment, was seeing the children repeat things I tell them. I explained that toys don't have wings, and that is why we cannot throw them. Later in the week I heard the children kindly remind their friends that our toys do not have wings, and we cannot throw them. This brought so much joy to my heart knowing they listen to what I say!
