Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a teacher and caretaker, at Primrose school and Montessori schools. I was an assistant teacher who taught art and music. I did potty training, diapers, and accidents as well. I was mostly skilled with behavioral children and, kids that struggled with autism.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Making art with the kids that is creative in fun and build their brain. I like to do outside scavenger hunts, collecting leaves and acorns and sticks making an outside jar for them. I enjoy teaching them the different animals. And mostly I love doing table manners actives that teach them how to sit at the table for breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being their for the kid no matter what, even when they are upset with me I will never give up on a child. It honestly doesnt bother me when I get kicked or hit, I rarely get mad i just want to help them be better.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for an autistic child while I worked at Primrose and I was teaching at the time. I helped him learn how to sit with the rest of the kids for books and lunch. And helped him calm down when he was upset for a very long time. I stayed with him and helped him through anything he need even if I was getting hurt in the process. I will never give up on a child.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Well two of my kids that i teach right now at school, I know that i am very comfortable for kids the second they touch me they are asleep. So I can't have kids sit with me or rub there back because in seconds.... their asleep 😭😂 and I feel so bad when I have to wake them up. But one little girl loves to sit in my lap and suck on her thumb and play with my hair as she stars at me with heavy eyes and its so funny and cute at the same time. And then another little boy, it think its funny because when hes upset and I cheer him up he likes to kiss my shoulder as a thank you and it makes my day every time.
