Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been a Sunday school assistant for children infant - 6 years old. I was also a mid-week childcare provider for students 1- 14 years old where some of the students had special needs. I also worked as a Preschool assistant teacher and as needed an infant assistant teacher where I also had experience with special needs children.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to do hands on activities with children where they can learn and play simultaneously. Getting children outdoors is also important.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with older and younger children with special needs. I have worked with children as old as 12 years old with behavioral disorders and autism as well as 2-3 year old children with minor physical disabilities and cognitive delays. I am also currently studying to earn a degree in special education. I am not professionally licensed for low incident high need individuals.
