Through this course I was able to gain hands on experience in a K/1sr grade classroom. I was able to both challenge children and encourage their ideas. Through storytime, art, and even math, creativity and critical thinking was built and developed. Besides remaining an academic support for the children, I grew a bond with many of the children, even receiving goodbye gifts once the quarter was over.
