Hello- My name is Linda Wojtasiak, DOB: 3/4/1960, if you would like to look me up as to any concerns you would like to clear up prior to a meeting with me. I recently retired as a full time career Social Worker in the greater Milwaukee area. This had me covering ages 0-to-100 yrs old in a variety of settings. I also recently retired from Children's Hospital after 27 yrs of PRN on call and weekend in house coverage. My most recent employer was a Dialysis company. where I was employed for 15 yrs. I had previously started an in center day care at the YWCA in Wausau WI from the bottom up. Everything was my job to get it up and running. This was long enough ago, that I am interested in obtaining my First Aid/CPR certification asap, so I will be compliant in your requirements. I was certified in children's CPR while I was employed at Children's Hospital. Looking for a job with a family, where we can grow together as the caring adults for your child(ren).

The most important part about being a nanny...

the most important part about being a nanny is your ability to develop those relationships, sometimes for a lifetime. I really do remember all/most of the kids and families that I touched in the 27 years. I was a social worker at Children’s Hospital, and I can provide you with situation’s but with HIPPA in mind.. The HIPPA guidelines , will be followed while I am in your home, as well., including after I am no longer in your employment. I am very confidential. not somebody that goes out with my friends and blast your story with your family to my friends ,so yeah that’s not who I am. I think, the amount of years I was a social worker, helped me to
1- build a relationships quickly with your clients that is supportive,
2- provides educational, opportunities.

My experience with special needs children...

It has been a while since I got my masters degree. When I was in graduate school, I did a field practicum for a year in the Milwaukee public school district. Their social work staff at most of those schools deal with kids that have special needs, kids that are behavior issues, and parents that need to attend an IEP for their town and the follower needed to make sure that happens. no granted that was many years ago so do I think I could do this well yes I do. I think your concerns are valid and would be definitely available for a meet and greet if that is something you would want.
