Multiple private nanny jobs; I have experience with all ages. I worked in a reputable daycare setting, stay at home mom of 4; ages 10-16, babysitting for family, friends & others. My old house was basically aftercare for my 4, my best friends 2, & 1 from the neighbors - this was all of COVID, as well. Have homeschool experience from my own child. Ask for my references!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Stroller walks, outdoor play, art projects, building blocks, board games, water play, reading books, homework help, movie time, teaching and making doing chores fun! Playing with toys, teaching how to help bake cookies etc. - I am open to just about anything for your kiddos!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I treat each child as if they were my own, and how I would want anyone to take care of & participate in activities with my own children. Trust is so big for us mamas, dads, & guardians... & I aim to put your mind at ease, knowing that your child or children are safe, supervised, and probably singing or being silly. I believe in as little screen time as possible. I have cared for plenty of children with no screen time, but I do honor the wishes of the parents/guardians.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience dealing with MANY mental health needs. I have not cared for a physically impaired child before, but I would not be opposed; the same for sight or hearing impaired. I am very flexible and love to learn and help others.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moments are always when the kiddos master a new skill or say new words, make new sounds and gestures. I love watching them discover things by being adventurous & curious to learn.
