Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have babysit for a family for going on 1.5-2 years while up at college. They have two sons; one is 4 and the other is 10. I absolutely love babysitting them and adore their family, and they are really what made me want to start babysitting more. While I was home this past Summer, I nannied two 8-year-old girls Monday through Friday, and we had an absolute blast! I am going to school for social work and want to work with children, so to say I love kids and working with children is an understatement. I love helping them learn and grow and just watching them be kids. I love getting outside and playing with them. I used to bring the little boy I watch bubbles, and it would absolutely thrill him!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
In warmer months I wouldn’t mind taking children to the park to play or doing something inside when it’s cold. Whatever they’re interested in so they can remain entertained and engaged.

I don’t really have any experience with special needs children, but I am willing to learn all that your child needs to ensure they get taken care of properly!
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I first met the two boys I watch (I worked with their mom, so I knew her for a while), and she was expecting the baby to be stand-offish as he usually was to new people, and he warmed up to me literally within seconds and we were outside playing with his water table and the swings and he just absolutely adored me and wanted to be held, and it really warmed my heart. I have always been good with kids and they have always loved to be around me so I was kind of expecting it, but it truly warmed my heart and it shocked his mom as he had never done that to someone he hadn’t met before.
