I love trying to get kids engaged in age appropriate, real world activities like reading, arts and crafts, music, putting on plays, building forts and playing outside. Screen time isn't always bad, but I do try to limit it and encourage kids to engage with the world around them.

The most important part about being a nanny is working with parents to do what is best for the children. Open and honest communication with the parents is vital to remain on the same page, keep the kids safe, and provide a fun and comforting presence that both the kids and parents can trust.

I've worked with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as injuries and mobility limitations.
