A little bit about me

I’m a mother of two adult children:
My daughter is 27 and manages her father’s business and my son is 19 and is a Marine.

When in grade school I would help the special education teacher with taking care of Michael who was 21 at the time and wheelchair bound but was also mentally disabled. I also helped with Paul who had Down’s syndrome when I was a senior in high school in the republic of Panama. I also was a life guard in high school so cpr training was a must. At 50 I became a white water rafting guide and was CPR/first aid trained. Children are to be treasured. I’m 56 years old and have two small dogs, Boo bear and Cora who are sweet and gentle. They have the uncanny ability to know when someone is in need of love.
I believe that meeting and getting to know someone is very important for the building of trust and I believe that it is also important to watch the interaction between the caregiver and the person they provide care
