Hi,
I am a stay at home homeschool Mom who has a background in childcare (20 years of experience). I love kids and my children are always happy to have friends over to play with! I have my EC1, Ec2, Infant and toddler certificates through the registry and sids training. I have my associates degree in elementary education. I am looking to return to work full time, as my husband is disabled, and would love to find some kiddos to teach and have fun with and still have the flexibility to be there for my family as needed.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked with Afterschool inc., at two childcare centers and have experience as a babysitter/ nanny before having my own children and often babysit still as well as volunteering in a private school, and Sunday school, VBS, etc.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Baking, games, arts and crafts, walks, teaching/tutoring, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety is always my top priority. Secondly, I make sure to respect each family’s wishes for their children and help to make sure the kids stay healthy and happy. Aside from that, I love to teach and make fun memories that they’ll remember for a lifetime.

My experience with special needs children...

I have limited experience working with children with special needs, but some during my time working in daycare centers and Afterschool, inc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are too many to mention. I feel like the kids I’ve watched become part of our family. I’m always so happy to see them grow and I’m glad to be part of that. I've had the privilege of working with many children over the years and I often think of them and wonder how they are.
