I have worked as a Sunday School Teacher from infant to middle school. I worked in a childcare facility in Seattle while attaining my bachelors degree. I worked for Community Builders Programs (GEAR/CRASH) at CERSD. I am also on the Board of Directors for two childrens' NPO's.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was working with the elementary school as a reading coach. One of my favorite students, sweetest young lady, had difficulty reading and moving from line to line. I always had a fun pencil with me. When she used the fun pencil, to move down the page in reading, her scores increased dramatically. I always had my special pencil for reading and bought a variety of themes to assist her. The other children I was working with saw her using the pencils and asked to use them as well. It was inspiring to witness the love and enthusiasm for reading with our amazing children!
