A little bit about me

I was a licensed vocational nurse for 14 years with a wide range of experience. I started my career in the military as a medic. I deployed to Baghdad, Iraq ER Trauma Center as a medic and was very involved in saving soldiers. After leaving the military with my nursing license I started doing pediatric high tech home health. What that is is working with patients who are critically ill and at home on ventilation with tracheostomy and g-tubes. I worked with disabled children of all ages and of all abilities. I was a nanny when I was a young woman in my 20's exploring life and I loved it. Right now I'm in college to get my bachelor's in Healthcare Administration. I have worked in management most of my career and know how to lead groups. I am also a great communicator. I would love to help anyone willing to pay my price.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a pediatric home health nurse days and nights where these kids were of all ages and of all abilities. The parents were usually out of the home while I cared for the disabled child. These kids had anywhere from g tubes to tracheostomys and ventilators.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Going to the park. Walking and playing with the family pet. Bounce parks, any outdoor activities that keep the kids off the phones and computers.
