Hello, my name is Lisa. I just recently moved to St. George. I lived in Salt Lake for the last 33 yrs. and decided to move to a warmer climate. I have 4 grown children and 10 amazing grandchildren. Being a parent and grandparent has been an amazing experience. I couldn’t be any happier than what these kids brought into my life. Always wanted a big family and I was blessed with one. Family is everything to me and I would love to be able to help yours when you need me to. I am reliable and responsible. Your child/children will be in good hands. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m pretty open to what the children want to do as long as it’s ok with the parents. Going to the park. library, zoo, aquarium, amusement park…whatever tickles their fancy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is having the young playful personality a part of my life. They grow up so fast that I miss having young ones around me. Their laugh, their interest in learning knew things, their energy and playful personality. Nothing is more fulfilling and enjoyable than showing a child something new that they haven’t learned and seeing their eyes light up.

My experience with special needs children...

I have 2 nephews. One is autistic and his brother is more on the special needs spectrum. The autistic one is 19 and has thrived in his life that the autism is very hard to see. The one that is special needs is an amazing boy and we enjoy spending time with him. He loves being with my husband doing activities outside or being content watching his favorite movies. We get to spend time with him 3 to 4 times a month. Finding time for him is something we make time for. It is a humbling feeling when you have a person that you know and love and care for. Patience is something you have to have and complete understanding of their personality and how they show it.. The days can vary from one being really good and easy and than you can have a completely different day. We work with him and he is really a good loving person.
