A little bit about me

Well I'm a mother of twin boys. I was lucky enough to be able to stay home with them for a few years why they were younger. I do have and always have a love for kids. I have other Nanny friends who encouraged me to get into this field because I was so good with kids. Previously to this I was in management and just recently decided to change careers and become a nanny. I've I've been lucky enough to meet some really great families. I've been blessed. I not only feel like I'm a value to them but they make me feel so valued. I've had just about every family I worked with said you've been a blessing. All I can say is that I'm going to care for anybody's child (any family that I work for) as if they were my own.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked for approximately five different families. Reason why there's multiples because I started off doing this part time. So I juggle a few families at one time. But would prefer at this time to go into it full time. Part-time was convenient for a little while but now I prefer a full time if possible.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Oh we go for walks, taking them out to parks, we play games at home, I also like to do learning activities with them, we sing songs and dance to certain videos for kids. It's usually not a problem for me to keep the kids entertained. They have a lot of fun with me. Just spending time with them ❤️

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think for a parent's side of things is knowing that you have somebody you can trust is so important. I am one of those people that you can trust. I'm reliable dependable. And they know that I'm going to take good care of their children. Not just to watch over them but I always make sure they're fed, and activities and fun and all of these things. But when people are trusting you with their codes and giving you remotes and all that to come into their home. That's trusting as a person. And I value that and I respect that. I can say that I have been truly blessed with the families that I have been able to help.

My experience with special needs children...

I have been around a few kids with ADH.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Oh there's a few it's hard to say one but I think it's just when we're playing together and they're getting so excited and having fun and laughing . I think for me it's when I would go into my one family's home and the kids and the animals would be waiting for me at the door. It's priceless. And the parents telling me how they love me and they always ask when I'm coming again. Such a heartwarming feeling. I've really gotten attached to a lot of these families and kids that I have helped. This is why I would like to continue in this career. It's rewarding and satisfying to me. So much more than what management was for me. I have so much fun and I enjoy it!
