A little bit about me

Hi my name is Lisa I graduated high school in 1985. The day after graduation I moved to the East coast to be a live in nanny for a family with 2 children. Since then I have held numerous nanny jobs I even ran my own licensed daycare from my home for over 12 years. Due to Covid and some new requirements set upon me from the Washington State licensing department decided to close my daycare and go back to being a nanny. I have worked with many age ranges of children, and have also worked with children with special and specific needs. For the past 4 years I was a nanny for a family in Yakima. They recently made the decision due to the ages of the children and some changes in their family they feel like having a full time nanny isn’t something they need anymore

I was a preschool teacher in an infant toddler classroom for 2 years. I ran an in home licensed daycare from my home for 10+ years. I have held many Nanny/Aupair positions since 1985. Most positions I stayed 3-5 years. I started when child/ren were infants a worked till child/ren were ready for preschool

I enjoy doing crafts, outside play, going for walks, going to library, educational games and activities, also like watching movies and some tv with children. Everyone needs a balanced mix of activities.
