I'm a lifeguard and a swim instructor. I taught swim lessons to kids of various ages. I had to save two kids who were drowning while I was lifeguarding. I also babysat multiple times.

To me, I think the most important part of being a nanny is being CPR and First AID certified as well as having child abuse clearances.
My experience with special needs children...
I helped with an Adaptive swim program for kids and teens with disabilities at the YMCA near my house. I also help with the Adaptive swim gym class my school has. I've been in best buddies for 4 years and enjoy participating in the holiday parties, Friendship walk, polar plunge, watching my buddies participate in Bocce and unified track, as well as hanging out outside of school.
