Hello, my name is L’legacy, and I have over three years of experience working in childcare. My background includes babysitting as well as employment at First Presbyterian Preschool, where I served as the head teacher in the infant classroom this past year and previously as a co-teacher in the toddler classroom. I recently graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and am currently continuing my education in nursing school. I worked as a teacher at First Presbyterian Preschool, where I nurtured and cared for infants and toddlers, supporting their early development through attentive, responsive care. In addition, during my junior year of college, I served as a mentor to first-grade students, providing guidance, encouragement, and academic support while building positive, trusting relationships.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

One of my favorite memories working with children was during our school’s Water Day. Seeing the children light up with excitement as they splashed, laughed, and explored different water activities was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me how meaningful hands-on, playful experiences are for children’s joy, confidence, and learning. Moments like that—watching them feel free, curious, and truly happy—are what make working with children so special to me.
