More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Since the age of 16, I've been deeply involved in childcare within my neighborhood, serving as a trusted babysitter for families in the community. This experience has provided me with valuable insights into the unique needs and dynamics of different families, while also honing my skills in child supervision and care. Over the years, I've built strong relationships with both children and parents, fostering an environment of trust and reliability. My dedication to creating a safe and nurturing space for children to thrive has been a cornerstone of my approach, and I take great pride in the responsibility entrusted to me by each family I work with.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I thrive on engaging children in a variety of enriching activities that combine fun with learning. From creative arts and crafts sessions that spark imagination to outdoor adventures that encourage exploration and physical activity, I cherish the opportunity to make each day exciting and memorable. Storytime and imaginative play are staples in my routine, fostering language skills and social development while igniting a love for storytelling. I also enjoy involving children in cooking and baking activities, promoting life skills and healthy eating habits in a playful way. Educational games and puzzles round out our time together, stimulating cognitive abilities and teamwork while ensuring a well rounded experience. Ultimately, my goal is to create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive while having a blast under my care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of the most important aspects of being a nanny is fostering a nurturing and supportive environment where children feel safe, loved, and valued. Building strong relationships based on trust and respect lays the foundation for healthy development and positive interactions. By being attentive to their needs, providing guidance, and offering enriching experiences, nannies play a vital role in shaping a child's growth and well-being.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience working with special needs children. My younger brother has special needs, and I've been actively involved in his care and development. He's non-verbal and has been working hard to learn how to walk, so I've gained valuable insights into how to provide support, encouragement, and patience in such situations. It's been a journey of learning and growth for both him and our family, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to contribute to his progress and well being.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment was when my neighbor's daughter ran up to me as I walked in the door. It warmed my heart to see her excitement, knowing how much I adore working with children and brightening their days. Pursuing child psychology only deepens my passion for understanding and positively impacting young lives. It was the cutest thing ever

Saniya M. - Seeking Work in Kent

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in Kent, OH: Saniya M.

Hiya!! My name is Saniya and I am from Kent, Ohio! I am currently a student attending Bowling Green State University and am majoring in AYA Social Studies education! I also have a currently active FBI and BCI background check as well as a teaching license! I have been a babysitter for approximately 5 years, but I have always loved working with children and watching my younger cousins. My family likes to say that I get along with kids so well because I am a big kid myself! This past summer was my first year of being a nanny and I absolutely loved it! While I was with that family I assisted with Kindergarten readiness, had ukulele/guitar lessons, encouraged the child to try new foods, and so much more! What sets me apart from other nanny’s is that I do my best to have a close bond with the kids I watch. Of course while maintaining healthy boundaries. I hope I can provide care that goes above and beyond to put your mind at ease while giving your kiddos a fun and responsible care giver!

Hi! My name is Tyana. I go to Kent State University. Im majoring in speech pathology and minoring in autism spectrum disorders. I go to church at redemption chapel. I donate my time every Sunday with 4 year olds and middle schoolers. I’m also going to be a Christian camp counselor at camp Carl this upcoming summer for 2024! I’m very excited for the new opportunity to create memories this summer. Since I’ll be a counselor the entire summer, I won’t be able to start any job until the start of the new school year.
