I am so happy working in a family environment, and so lucky and blessed to be able to care for children. I am a mature and responsible caregiver, who will always have the child’s best interest and safety in mind. A good schedule makes everyone happy. I, also, make nutritious meals, loaded with fun. As an optimist, I aways support the child’s efforts to learn, try new things, and explore the world around her. I teach manners, when it’s time for manners, and, we have fun, when is time to be silly. My couple of decades experience, allows me to recognize healthy or unhealthy behaviors and immediately give the child the support she needs.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Beside the many LA families I had work with as a Nanny, my first job was
at a Pre school and day care where I cared for 2-4 y.o. children, and also 3mo. plus baby’s nursery. It was a great experience - Not a dull moment!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

The activity depends on the child’s age and season of the year(Summer or Winter), but it would go from Music, rhymes, games (colors, letters, numbers, animais,…). At my last job we had a cushion floor pad where we could do physical activities: roll, yoga, copy bugs walking, etc. I love to do painting and cut outs, and masks for kids. Outdoors activities like playing ball games, water games (Summer), garden treasure hunts (winter).

The most important part about being a nanny...

To serve, help people, and to lay down the basis, values and health habits to help the children to become the best people of the future. I feel that I’m fulfilling my purpose in life, and the results of those first years under my care have been showing to be very rewarding, when I see the children I cared for 10 years ago, doing so well in school and socially. I’m proud.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Many families move to another city, either for a better job opportunity or to be near relatives. I keep in contact with all of them and, although we’re far, I am still welcomed as part of their family and watch the kids grow through video calls, letters and drawings. It’s an amazing feeling!
