Hi! My name is Lorena. While I may not have formal nanny experience, I’m a mother myself to two children ages 6 and 4, so I truly understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, patient, and caring watching over your children.

I’ve always been very involved in my children’s education and daily routines, and I take pride in raising them to be respectful, independent, and confident. I’m also bilingual in English and Spanish, and I really enjoy teaching my children both languages because I believe it’s such a valuable skill for them to have as they grow.

I’m also very big on Montessori-style learning and encouraging children to achieve their daily goals in a fun, positive, and independent way. My most relevant experience comes from being a mother to my two children, ages 6 and 4. I’m very involved in their education, routines, and development, and I enjoy teaching them both English and Spanish. I also believe strongly in Montessori-style learning and encouraging independence. I enjoy doing activities that keep children active, engaged, and learning in a fun way. I love taking kids outdoors for walks, parks, playgrounds, and other hands-on activities rather than relying heavily on screen time. I’m very big on creating a balanced routine with creative play, learning activities, reading, and encouraging independence through Montessori-style activities.

Since I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, I also enjoy incorporating both languages into everyday learning and conversations in a natural and fun way.

The most important part about being a nanny to me is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable being themselves and naturally warming up to me over time. I believe building trust and a genuine connection with children is so important. I love encouraging independence, creativity, and confidence through hands-on learning, outdoor activities, and positive routines. As a mother myself, I understand the importance of trust and communication with families, and I would care for every child with patience, kindness, and attention just like I do with my own children

My experience with special needs children...

While I do not have direct experience working with children with special needs, I do have experience caring for adults with dementia through my caregiving background. That experience has taught me patience, compassion, communication, and the importance of creating a calm, safe, and supportive environment. It has also helped me become very attentive to individual needs and routines, which I believe are important qualities when caring for children as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...
