The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel secure and supported. One of my favorite nanny moments was seeing a child I cared for accomplish something they had been working on and feeling proud of themselves. Being part of that process—encouraging them, supporting them, and celebrating their progress—was incredibly rewarding. I also love the small everyday moments, like sharing laughter during playtime, reading together, or when a child feels comfortable enough to express themselves freely. Those genuine connections and seeing their happiness are what make this role so meaningful to me.
