Hi! My name is Lorraine Scott, the little ones love to call me Rain. I come from a big family and i have 6 years of paid experience in child care. My mother owns a Daycare and cares for foster children/babies. I've been working by her side for many years. I have a love for children and helping parents. I've done it all from tidying the home, preparing meals, helping with homework, planning enrichment activities, laundry and more! I have cared for ages 0-16years and at max 6 kids at a time. The most important part about being a nanny...

There are so many important aspects about being a nanny. I can say some of my top ones have to be safety, patience, and organization. A day in the life of a nanny involves great responsibility. To be able to get the multiple things done in a timely manner is from learning how to schedule and plan the day accordingly. Also, problem solving and communication with parents when things don't go according to plan is just as important.Patience is always key to working with children. Patience helps maintain emotional stability with us nannies and with the children, so it has to be most important.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Holidays are always so special for the kids. Growing up, my family didn't celebrate much so i always love to do fun things now that i'm older. Weather its decorating a little, giving gifts and planning activities, it always warms my heart to see them so excited and having fun!
