My nephew is autistic and has been such a bundle of joy! Learning his language and the new ways I get to see the world through his eyes have been a tremendous blessing! I have taken care of children who are wheelchair bound, who are nonverbal, and who have pathological demand avoidance. Each child is different and there is always a learning curve for each one, and I love to learn!
