A little bit about me

Hi my name is Lucie Campbell! A little about me is I LOVE kids! I babysat in high school part time for about three years. I have experience working with children with special needs! Things I love to do with kids are going to the park, hands on activites, playing games, reading and more! I find that I prefer a nanny job because I love getting to see the enjoyment in the kids eyes when I show up to play with them! I have my CNA and BLS certifications! I have experience working in a hospital so I can handle very stressful situations! In events that a child may be hurt I remain to stay calm and help soothe them while caring for the wounds! I believe that every kid should be treated equally! I am finishing my associates in general education online part time! So I have lots of time to help around the house and watch some kiddos! I am always willing to come help during a date night as well! I have a reliable car that I keep clean, so if transportation is needed, I am more than happy to help!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I took some preschool classes in highs school. I also babysat for 3 years while doing high school at the same time. I have many cousins I nanny in my free time as well!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some indoor activities that I love to do is, hide and go seek, puzzles, simple crafts, cooking, dancing and singing, reading books, learning something new or playing board games! Things I love to do outside are, blowing bubbles, water games, going to the park, soccer, bike rides, playing with chalk or tossing a ball!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part to me is ensuring that the child is safe, happy, and having fun. As well as keeping the home nice and neat for when the parent(s) come home! I love to create a stress free environment!

My experience with special needs children...

My older brother was diagnosed with autism at age 5, and my mom made sure that me and my sister knew what it was at a young age. I’ve also taken several peer tutoring classes and I have many family members with special needs!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when the child I was looking after asked me if I could ride her bike to the park and tech her how to peddle! It was so cute and sweet of her!
