I’ve been a camp counselor, I’ve trained to work with special needs children, and those struggling with attachment disorders. I’ve been a full time nanny, I’ve operated a children’s face painting business, I come from a big family full of kids myself, and have been a long time babysitter for many families, for multiple years!

Personally I to cook and bake sweets, and like to involve and teach kids as much as possible if they want to! Also love to be outside exploring and identifying plants and nature!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part of any childcare situation is treating the child with respect and prioritizing their autonomy. Im a No nonsense type, and prioritize the safety and well being of the child overall, but in general I want kids to feel like their opinions, desires, and voice matter. I believe in child let play and activity (within reason lol) and try to meet each kid at their level to give them the kind of attention and time they need to feel safe, comfortable, well adjusted, and excited about our time together!

I have experience working with children who have Autism, ADHD, congestive disabilities, physically/moter disabilities, as well as extensive training in helping care for children struggling with RAD (reactive attachment disorder)

I have been thoroughly involved within the community with doing volunteer related work for various non-profits for the past couple years since I moved to the central coast. Outside of my professional work life however, at the moment I have free time on the weekends and would love to apply my experience working with youth from all different backgrounds during that time!
