Hi my name is Lucy! I am an undergraduate student at the University Of Washington in Seattle. I have experience working with children ages 1-12 from babysitting gigs, to my time as a student teacher at a local middle school, a tutor at local elementary & middle schools, and my time working at a children's museum as a learning facilitator. I enjoy staying active, being outdoors, and finding creative ways to keep kids engaged. I bring this into my my care by creating a positive environment where kids feel comfortable and safe to be themselves while offering any support they may need. Being a nanny is not simply a job to me. Its fostering a safe, and comfortable environment where kids can learn and grow to become who they are. I will strive to engage kids in activities that suit their needs, are flexible to existing routines, and most importantly keep them happy. As kids grow develop, Ive learned its important to keep an active and healthy day to day routine, whether thats going for a walk, kicking the soccer ball, doing arts and crafts, I do my best to ensure every child has the opportunity to be engaged and enjoy their day.
