A little bit about me

My name is Lugain (pronounced Loo-Jane) Abdelrahman. I'm a student at the University of Kentucky going into my sophomore year of studying Biology and being Pre-med. I am also a lifelong Louisville native. I can speak English and Arabic fluently, and I'm currently learning Spanish and French.

I have a strong foundation in childcare from babysitting to volunteering at multiple Norton Children’s Hospital events, and helping out at local elementary school festivals. But my most recent caregiver experience is with my grandmother since I was 9—managing her routine medications, preparing meals, handling her transportation, and cleaning after her. With her recent relocation to Egypt and me being back for the summer, my schedule has opened up. I love working with kids and look forward to being a nanny this summer.
