A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Luhana, and I have about 6 years of experience working with children of all ages. For 5 years, I was part of a youth mentor program, dedicating 5–10 hours a week to guiding and supporting pre-teens. In my junior year of high school, I taught swimming lessons to kids ages 2–13, helping them build both skills and confidence in the water.
I’ve also cared for my younger cousins (ages 4–12) during family events, so I’m comfortable with a variety of personalities and needs. I’m patient, responsible, and committed to creating a safe and fun environment. As for my hobbies, I enjoy cooking, baking, cleaning, reading, and crocheting—and I’m happy to incorporate these hobbies into activities with kids, as well as more active hobbies. I’m an incoming freshman at Cal Poly Humboldt, studying Mechanical Engineering.
