Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done volunteering work at my San Bernardino Community Church a few times caring for the children and helping them find God and learn about him. They were well fed and have fun playing all sorts of games. And when it was time to leave I made sure everyone had all their stuff packed and ready to go.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For some indoor activities I love to play with barbie dolls or toy cars, coloring, singing, hide and seek, peekaboo. For some outdoor I like playing we are heroes, racing, tickle monster, I spy, basketball, or if you allow them to go to the park.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a nanny means to care for the child like it’s your own. Make sure their okay, well rested, having fun, enjoying themselves, like your company, but also learning to say no to things the parent says they aren’t allowed to do. It’s hard but it’s the importance of taking care of someone else child.
My experience with special needs children...
At my old school Pacific High, there was always a group of special needs kids wanting to hang out and play with us after school so I would color and draw with them and play uno or sing their favorite song, and even watch movies.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When you see how big their smile is every time you come back to see them.
