Some of my favorite things to do with kids include arts and crafts ), reading storybooks together, playing outside, building things with Legos, and coming up with fun imaginative games. I also love helping with homework and creating little routines that make kids feel safe and supported. I’m the older sister of a wonderful autistic sibling who’s seven years younger than me, and growing up with her has shaped who I am. From a young age, I learned how to be patient, empathetic, and attentive to the unique ways kids express themselves and experience the world. I’ve supported her through meltdowns, sensory overloads, routines, communication challenges, and joyful moments too. It’s taught me how to show up with love, calm energy, and consistency, even on hard days.
