Hello. My name is Lydia. I am graduating from Houghton University with a BA in adolescence education and math to become a high school math teacher. I am competent at taking initiative in creating child-friendly activities, maintaining organized schedules with little parental guidance, adept in caring for up to several children, preparing simple meals and managing personal, medical, and educational activities for each child. I am CPR certified and first aid certified.

I enjoy children and their enthusiasm for life, creativity, and joy. As the oldest of four children, I have experience babysitting kids in all different stages of life. I have experience being a Nanny for the past two summers. I have lived overseas most of my life and have cared for kids in diverse settings. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have work at an afterschool program called powerhouse for three years while I am studying to be a teacher. I am a tutor and mentor to these kids that are in kindergarten all the way up to 12th grade. I also plan and participate in recreational activities with them. I have also nannied for the past two summers two girls ages 5-6 and 11-12. My job entail me to drive them, prepare lunch, entertain, swim, and light house work. I also worked as a program leader of a teen camp for Takoma park recreation center in Maryland for a summer. The job required me to keep children safe and make sure they’re having fun along with providing activities for them to do.

I love swimming, going to the park, baking, playing just dance or Mario cart, dance parties and karaoke.
