Hi! I’m Lydia Valenzuela-Rylaarsdam, a sophomore at Augustana University majoring in Elementary Education, seeking a part-time summer position. I have extensive childcare experience, including:

Babysitting my three younger brothers.
Supporting single mothers in need.
Fostering two boys during their parents’ military deployment.
Full-time summer nannying the past two years.
On-call babysitting for Sioux Falls families.
I’ve also been a teacher’s assistant and practicum student for kindergarten and second-grade classrooms, and I’ve worked with children’s youth programs, gaining valuable skills in accommodating children’s needs while fostering meaningful connections.
