Hi! I'm currently working at a daycare where I've gained 5 years experience of working with children from 6 weeks to 11 years old, along with additional babysitting experience. I'm also a current student at Northern Illinois University in the Education department. My major is in Middle Level Math education (to be a middle school math teacher), but I've also taken professional development courses in early life and elementary education. I was also chosen for NIU's 2024 Educate Global trip where I had the chance to teach for a month in Indonesia, so I have plenty of interesting stories to tell!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a current daycare teacher and have been for the past 5 years. I primarily work with 5 to 11 year olds, but I also work with 6 week to 4 year olds during the school day! I've also worked with individual families for babysitting and light housework duties.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going to nearby parks, going on walks or bike rides, playing dress up, and doing process centered artwork along with crafts. I also love to put on music to have a dance party or sit and read a story with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Helping families feel connected with each other even when they may not be with each other every moment of the day. Giving the children fun activities and experiences to tell their parents about and keeping parents in the loop about every-day milestones and moments of their kids lives along with price of mind.
