More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
While I haven’t worked as a full-time nanny before, I have several years of hands-on childcare experience. I watched my neighbors’ three children, sometimes from 4 PM until 11 PM or midnight. I have also cared for my siblings’ children, ranging from 7 months to 9 years old, and have experience occasionally caring for my special-needs niece.
I’m also a mom to a 2-year-old, so I have firsthand experience caring for a child from infancy through the toddler years, including feeding, changing, comforting, entertaining, keeping a routine, and handling the everyday responsibilities that come with caring for a young child. Being a mom has given me a lot of patience, responsibility, and confidence when it comes to caring for children of different ages and needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking children out and keeping them active, adventurous, and away from screens whenever possible! I enjoy taking my son on hikes, to museums, the zoo, aquarium, swimming, parks, and anywhere else we can explore and have fun. I love giving kids opportunities to socialize, try new things, and experience places they may not normally get to visit.
When the weather is bad and we’re stuck inside, I’m always trying to come up with creative ways to keep things fun instead of relying on TV or screens. I love doing crafts, drawing, baking, building things, and making DIY games or activities out of things we already have around the house. I’m always willing to get creative and come up with something new based on what the kids are interested in. My goal is to make sure they’re having fun, staying engaged, and making good memories no matter what we’re doing

The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting relationship with the children while respecting the parents’ role. I want them to know I’m someone they can come to when they need help, feel upset, or need someone to listen, without ever encouraging them to keep things from their parents. I also think it’s important to help children grow into who they are instead of criticizing them or trying to change them to fit what the world expects. Every child is unique, and I want to encourage them to be confident, kind, curious, and comfortable being themselves. Most importantly, a nanny should provide safety, patience, consistency, and genuine care so parents know their children are not just being watched, but truly cared for and encouraged!
