I would volunteer in a early childhood learning center when I was in high school watching over 2-5 year olds. I took a summer internship in 2025 and that allowed me to work with children as young as 6 months to 5 year olds again.

I usually let the child pick what games they like play first to make a kid feel comfortable around me but I eventually would suggest some games like red light green light, something that gets a kid moving. I also just enjoy playing board games too.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is making sure children are taken care of, to ensure they don't do things they aren't supposed to when parents aren't home and to make sure a child is comfortable and knows they are safe with me and will be cared for when their parents aren't home.
