Hello, I'm Lynn! I'm an undergrad college student with an existing associate’s degree. I will be in the Chester and Blooming Grove area until mid-August, when I have to return to my out-of-state university. I enjoy crafts, music, movies, and crafting fun experiences for your children! Whether it be hosting a game night, teaching them to make bracelets or charms, or having a karaoke night, I prioritize fun while maintaining a safe-structured environment suited to parental requests. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

In high-school, I informally babysat for four families: A family with 4 energetic children, a family with 3 rambunctious girls, a family with 2 dance-monkeys, and a family with an 11-year-old who was adamant about learning crochet from me! I also volunteered at an after-school center for a bit as a young teen. I am familiar with working with children, and hope to expand my experience.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Crafts, board games, water cannon and nerf-gun tournaments, tutoring, building with Legos, going to small amusement parks or mini golf, swimming, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is the safety of the children. I make sure that preventable injuries are prevented, that they are fed and cleaned up on time, and that any medications or routines are maintained.

My experience with special needs children...

One family that I babysat had a very sweet nonverbal toddler and three low support older children who loved magnetic blocks. I had to adapt to their communication needs and set clear boundaries with the older children. While I am not professionally trained to work with children with disabilities, I adapt easily. This family was honestly one of my favorite families to work for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Seeing one of client's children make her mom a slideshow on Canva to ask for an elephant puppet. She was convinced that adding sad music and cute animals on the slides would work... It did... It was super funny to watch, though.
