I’m a thoughtful & caring nanny who has 8 years experience. I lived in HMB for 20 years and raised my kids there! I adapt quickly into most situations. I love kids & wish I’d have had 5 instead of 2. I’ve worked with newborns, infants, babies & toddlers up to age 15; with 1 child & as many as 4 children at a time.

I offer fresh & nutritionally balanced meals & snacks. I handle sleep training if needed, pick ups, drop offs & general household assistance depending on your needs. I maintain kid’s pantry, grocery shop & run errands.

I bring age appropriate developmental play, ie., swimming, baseball, exercise & developmental play like art, reading, math, legos, & constructive free play. I believe in outings to parks, museums, & beaches.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked for many families as a temp nanny and all ages and numbers of children. My babies were ages 2 mos to 2 years. Toddlers were 2 yrs to four years, children I’ve cared for have been 4 years to 14 years old. I’ve taken care of one child, two very close in age, twins, and as many as 4 children with a single mom between the ages of 3 and 9. I still work weekends or evenings for many of my families.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I work each day to incorporate developmental age appropriate play. I have taught babies to mimic facial expression, roll over, crawl, recognize songs and stories and sleep trained.

I’ve taught toddlers their address, potty trained, their alphabet, their numbers, abacus play, how to buckle their seat belts, and even swimming.

I take the kids to all kinds of outings, zoos, museums, miniature golf, the beach, parks, play houses, to movies and out to eat. I’ve taught table manners, how to picnic, and create custom kid style exercise stations with an assortment of fun things to do while learning important motor skills and creating a physically active environment.

I’ve played on trampolines, taught kids to jump rope, dance, and skip, while building self confidence.

We’ll cook, do science experiments, legos, learning about space travel, planets and stars. We paint, color, draw, and create arts and crafts.

There is so much to do, explore and learn!

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with 2 year old twins on the autism spectrum. I’ve also worked with a teen anorexic, and a 5 year old twin with speech delay.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The kids are the stars in the show. I work hard to earn the children’s trust but most important to me is when the parents relax and trust me after working together for a while. That moment when they know that I am the one they want caring for their children. That their precious children are in good hands. That I am reliable, honest, caring and bring laughter, joy, developmental play, song, art and more time for them with their family. That’s the best moment of all!
