A little bit about me

Hi,
I am hoping to find a good fit with a family with younger children. I have had my own in-home daycare in the recent past because I love children and basically am still a child at heart myself. My first job at 18 was as a nanny for 5 very rambunctious little ones ages 2 to 10 and I'm now 61 with a world of experience with kids.
I have a full-time (seasonal) job with a very busy retail landscaping nursery, but I'm looking to cut back my hours there and take on something I love doing and feel I'm very good at.
I have many local references, starting with our current lieutenant govornor and his wife John and Brenda Rodgers. I cared for their two boys when they were 2 and 4 and they're now young adults with families of their own. We are still great friends and reminisce about our fun adventures together when they were little.
I love being outdoors and don't believe in plugging children in to screens of any kind unless they're not feeling well.
