More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to my work as a nanny and daycare provider, I’ve cared for children in a variety of volunteer settings. I’ve worked in church nurseries, providing care for infants and toddlers during services, and volunteered in classrooms to support both teachers and students. While I was a nanny for a family I’m still close with today, I also volunteered in the younger child’s preschool class for a year. These experiences gave me a well-rounded understanding of how to support children’s learning and development in both home and school environments.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning both indoor and outdoor activities that are tailored to each child’s age and developmental stage. For younger children, I love engaging them in storytime, music, sensory play, and simple crafts that encourage creativity and motor skills. For older children, I might plan board games, puzzles, cooking projects, or reading sessions that match their interests. Outdoors, I encourage physical activity and exploration—things like nature walks, scavenger hunts, sidewalk chalk, or playing ball. I always consider the child’s age, safety, and personality to ensure each activity is both enjoyable and appropriate.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a loving and nurturing environment from the very beginning. I believe every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, valued, and deeply cared for. When children feel that foundation of love and security, they’re more likely to grow into confident, independent, and compassionate individuals. My role as a nanny isn’t just about caregiving—it’s about helping to shape a child’s sense of self and their place in the world.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of the funniest things I remember from nannying was a little boy who became completely attached to one outfit—same shirt, same pants, every single day. He loved it so much that his mom had to wash it every night so he could wear it again the next morning. This went on for at least two weeks! One day we even offered him a very similar shirt, hoping he might go for it—but he wasn’t having it. He knew exactly what he wanted, and we admired his commitment!

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Sacramento, CA: Iniko H.
Hello, my name is Iniko. I’m 18 years old and have a strong background in caring for children. Growing up with younger siblings, I naturally took on the role of helping to raise and care for them, especially during tough times. That experience taught me patience, responsibility, and how to meet children’s needs with love and attention.
As I got older, I became the go-to babysitter in my family. Relatives often reach out to me when they need someone reliable and caring to look after their kids. I’ve cared for children of all ages, including newborns, and I truly enjoy every part of it.
Babysitting is something I’m passionate about and naturally good at. I work well with kids and always strive to create a safe, fun, and supportive environment for them. If you choose to trust me with your children, I can assure you they will be in great hands.
