Arts and crafts, dress up, and playing games that make them happy! I play house, hide and seek, I color, playing active games outside, and going to the park!

You are the responsible adult in charge. The kids look to you for guidance, help, questions etc. Providing a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for the children is most important!
My experience with special needs children...
I was a teacher assistant for a semester in my junior year of high school for 1st graders! (This was [phone number hidden]) There was one boy in the class with special needs and he is a sweetheart! Always welcomed me with a big hug! We usually had to have something different for him to do during the day, like a craft or something that was interesting to him!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite babysitting moments was at the YMCA definitely. I mostly had 3 year olds and they were all best friends, watching them communicate and grow that summer was truly the best feeling. I couldn’t wait to come to work to hangout with them!
