I have several years of experience caring for children in a variety of settings. During college, I worked at a daycare for three years while also babysitting for multiple families. I gained experience caring for children of different ages and personalities, helping with daily routines, activities, meals, and creating a safe and positive environment.
I also completed an internship alongside an Occupational Therapist at a school serving children and young adults with disabilities and medical needs, ranging from ages 3–21. This experience strengthened my patience, communication, adaptability, and ability to provide individualized care.
I have continued babysitting for families before, during, and after college. I truly enjoy working with children and take pride in being dependable, caring, patient, and safety-conscious. I love creating fun, engaging experiences for children while making sure they feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.

My experience with special needs children...
During my final year of college at Tarleton State University, I completed an internship working alongside an Occupational Therapist in a school serving students with disabilities and medically fragile students ranging from ages 3–21. This experience gave me the opportunity to work with children and young adults with a variety of needs and abilities.
As part of my internship, I helped create and facilitate hands-on, age-appropriate activities designed to encourage participation, movement, and engagement. I worked directly with students during these activities and learned the importance of being patient, attentive, flexible, and understanding of each individual’s needs.
This experience has helped me become more comfortable working with children who may need additional support and has taught me to meet each child where they are while creating a safe, positive, and encouraging environment.
