A little bit about me

I have a B.S in psychology and am going to CWU to obatin a Masters in Child Life. I aspire to work as a Child Life Specialist post graduation. I have babysat many children of family friends. This included meal prepping, light housecleaning, entertaining kids with creative activities, and playing outside. I have volunteered with Phoenix Childrens Hospital, which entailed maintaining a sanitary environment, and playing with children of all ages with various physical and mental disabilities. I have been volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) for three years (a one on one mentoring program for children in the community that need of a positive influence). I am currently employed with BBBS as the Customer Relations Specialist. I run background checks and speak with incoming volunteers to verify that they are suitable, and that they keep child safety as their first priority throughout their mentorship. I am moving to Ellensburg in August, and my courses begin in September. My classes are only Tuesdays and Thursdays.
