Hello! I’m a third year English and Social Work student at UW Madison, aspiring to become a junior high school teacher. I’ve been passionate about caring for and teaching children for a long time, and have gained much experience over the years including babysitting jobs, camp counseling, and helping out at a local daycare. Most recently, I was working as an after school teacher in Madison Public Schools, until covid unraveled and there was no longer a position available for me. I’ve also had experience in food service and housecleaning, so I am capable and more than willing to help with household chores. I have a nurturing and compassionate spirit, and the patience to help children as they work through things at their own pace; whether it be emotions, schoolwork, or just a new idea!
