Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I work as a gymnastics coach for preschoolers. I teach them skills while also making sure everyone is supervised. I have completed over 200 hours of volunteer work with children! I was a cheerleading coach for 3rd and 4th graders for two years during football season. I loved the experience and would do it again if I could. I taught cheer skills while ensuring the children practiced safely and provided group supervision.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love doing crafts and being outside with children! I think making different crafts for each season is not only fun but also educational. I enjoy spending time outdoors and believe it’s important for children to do the same. I love all sports and am happy to play any game!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child is safe. Safety is my biggest priority, and I always make sure all children are supervised. I also make sure I’m not boring, because then no one has fun! I love joining in on whatever the kids are playing, and I think they enjoy it when I get involved. I also like to include them in everyday activities. For example, when I’m cooking or baking, I’ll have them add ingredients to the bowl or help mix. I believe this teaches responsibility, and they usually love helping!
The most important part about being a nanny...
A funny moment I had while babysitting was when we would play baseball outside! I was not the best at baseball, so when I would try to hit the ball with the bat I would often miss, which led to both of us laughing on the ground! I miss babysitting him, we had a lot of fun!
