My name is Madalyn Morris, I am eighteen years old, I have been working with kids for a good bit now. I grew up in Midlothian Texas, with my mother and five siblings, I was the oldest which meant helping out with my younger siblings from time to time. Helping my mother gave me experiences that have helped to shape the way I work with kids. I love working with children, it brings me so much joy. More About Me

I have worked with kids for 2+ years. I have babysat kids ranging from newborns to high schoolers, as well as children with special needs. I love working with kids and enjoy being able to babysit.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I’m a very creative person, I have always loved making up fun activities to do with the kids I work with. Arts and crafts are always fun, as well as things like making blanket forts, baking, playing games, etc. I do have a vehicle, which has made it easy for me to take kids to the park, school, and even the pool during the summer time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the kids are happy, healthy, and safe. As an experienced babysitter, I find it important to talk to the parents about the rules and procedures they would like me to follow in order to still have a fun but safe time with the kids.

My experience with special needs children...

I grew up with a very mixed family when it comes to special needs children. My grandmother was a foster mother, which meant she took in kids of all backgrounds, including special needs. Special needs kids do need more attention and time than a child without these kinds of diagnosis, but that isn’t a problem for me. Each and every kid should be able to have a fun and safe experience with their babysitter, including children with disabilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I recently babysat for a women with three young girls, well one day I brought the girls to target to get them out of the house and get them a couple of surprises for good behavior, well the youngest baby being one and a half and the middle child being three were sitting in the cart, I look over and they’re giving each other a big hug and a kiss, it was the sweetest thing. Seeing those two girls get along and be kind to one another brought happiness to my heart. Moments like those are so precious, and I’m so glad I get to experience instances like those with those adorable girls.
