More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I currently volunteer in a 3rd grade class in the Nebo School District! It’s so fun - I help them read & comprehend what they’re reading, make crafts & any other curriculum they’re struggling with. I also worked at a kindergarten in Carlsbad California for a few months. It was the best job ever! I loved being able to help the kids develop their motor skills and watch them make relationships with those around them. It was fun to see them learn and grow and see their confidence boost - knowing that they had a “big kid friend”.

Painting, swimming, art, tag, going to a park, made-up games, duck duck goose, dance parties, cooking, etc...
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny, in my eyes, is making the kids feel loved and making sure they still feel like they have someone to go to when their parents have to meet needs - such as working. Making sure the kids are getting the love, attention and growth required at their specific ages.
My experience with special needs children...
One nanny job I had was for a 10 year old girl and her 7 year old autistic brother. It was such a special experience. Each special needs child has their own personality and it’s vital to know how to best communicate with them and gain their trust. It was incredible. I wouldn’t change that experience for the world.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My absolute FAVORITE moment of being a nanny so far was seeing the 9 month old I take care of take her first steps! That was such a special moment & I could not stop talking about it to my friends/family for days. It was special to be a part of such a big milestone in her life
