Hi! My name is Maddie and I am originally from Rhode Island, though I have been in NC for almost 5 years now. I graduated college from American University with both my bachelor and master degrees, and have 6+ years of experience in childcare. I’ve worked with children of all ages, from infants to teens, and I truly enjoy helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and loving environment. I am First Aid/CPR/AED certified (expires November 2026) through the American Red Cross, and I also hold a CDA (Child Development Associate) certification in Family Childcare. I am currently working to complete my Newborn Care Specialist certification through The Newborn Care Training Academy (an NCSA accredited program). I have also taken several trainings focused on safe sleep practices, potty training support, and the safe handling/storage of breast milk.
