I love connecting with children to make them feel understood, listened to, and supported. It's important to me to make sure that each child I work with is given the correct support and attention that they desire emotionally, and I strive to come up with creative games and activities (both indoors and outdoors) that are stimulating, exciting, and promote growth.

While working as a Summer Camp Counselor during Summer [phone number hidden] I had the opportunity to work with several neurodivergent children who required adapted learning/play activities for mental and emotional stimulation. As someone who grew up with a younger brother on the Autism spectrum with severe ADHD/Dyslexia, I try my best to adapt to the needs of children who may require different approaches to learning, play, and attention.
