More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked as a preschool and childcare assistant teacher from [phone number hidden] and I was a lead teacher from [phone number hidden]. I have been a part-time nanny for two families, one in 2020, and the other from late 2023 until May 2024. I began babysitting in 2006 and have built up a consistent and loyal clientele base.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I adore facilitating any and every type of experience I can think of - based on a child’s individual needs and interests. I love watching their faces light up when they get their educational “aha” moment. I particularly enjoy creating this through art, music, reading, and educational excursions outside the home.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It is so hard to choose one! I will say, that my favorite part of being a nanny is the bond that I build with the entire family. Each person becomes so special and dear, and I truly believe that is what makes the whole experience a success!

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with an array of children with disabilities in my classroom. I have supervised specialists who come in to work with individual children and provided accommodations and adjusted care plans as needed. My research for my undergrad degree consisted of creating equitable classroom environments, geared towards the inclusion of disability studies.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love all the little quips I have heard over the years. From the 2 year old who tried to bribe me with real money for a teether to the eight-year-old who made surprisingly informed statements about geopolitics and asked me tough questions that I needed Google to answer. And every funny little sass in between, those are the moments I adore.
